I myself am not sure I can type these words without crying.
How can the most beautiful woman thousands of miles away from me know exactly what I needed? She sent me the most beautiful photos of my new baby girl. A 4 month photo and a 1 year photo framed in the most gorgeous frames. I had a wall that needed SOMETHING to fill the spaces and I often stared at that wall wondering what else I could do with it. UNTIL the BOX came! I knew exactly where they were going. The 2 frames fit perfectly in the spot. It was so sweet. I am so grateful to have these beautiful photos of Anna and so thankful to her precious foster mother for sending me them. I can feel so much love from the box it burst out as I opened it.
The smell..... I am a HUGE smeller. I smell everything. One thing I like to smell is my kids hair. Especially after a bath. It is the sweetest smell that comforts me. When Ella came home on Dec 26th 2006 I immediately smelled her head remembering the smell form Korea or at least imagining it smelled like her head. I could not stop smelling her hair as I knew when I washed her up it would go away. We did not travel to Korea for Ella and I imagined that is what Korea smelled like. It was a very distinctive smell. I still remembered it. SO once the box came you probably guess, I smelled it all! LOL Yep it smelled just like Korea. It was the same smell. It was so comforting to me. I felt love pouring out from just the smell and the box. Knowing all this stuff was close to my baby and came from the most loving person was the most wonderful feeling in the world. I couldn't write yesterday about it. I had to collect my thoughts.
A BIG THANK YOU TO MANDY for bringing this from Korea to the USA and mailing it to me while getting your precious daughter!!!!!
