Hello friends,
As we get closer to bringing Anna home, I think it is time I start to blog again.
That way when we travel to Korea I can update the blog for you all to read!
Well we are finally getting along in the process!
We had to resubmit our finger prints to FBI because they said they were not a good quality. It was super frusterating and a very sad time to waste over 2 1/2 months for our prints to be approved before we could start our homestudy. BUT HOLT pulled thru after our prints came back, our social worker came and prepared our home study quickly.
So far here is our timeline....
Fingerprints submitted to FBI 1-8-10
Fingerprints rejected redone 2-9-10
Home study completed with social worker 3-17-10
ACCEPTANCE paperwork sent to Holt 03-31-10
LEGALS 4-6-10 I600 I600A received on 4-7-10
Acceptance/HOME STUDY sent to Korea 04-09-10
Acceptance received to Korea 4-20
FINGERPRINTS in Des Moines 4-26
I600/I600A 4-27
EP submission 4-28
These steps still have to be completed...
NVC in
NVC out
P3 packet
EP approval
Class B waiver if needed
EA
VI (visa interview)
TRAVEL CALL!!!!
So you see we still have a ways to go but we are MOVING!
I was so happy to have the EP submission this month!
That means Korea is MOVING our paperwork thru the Korean Govt. YAHOO!
I have included the photos we have of Anna. The lady in the photos is Anna's beautiful Foster Mother. She has been taking care of Anna since she was 1 month old.
I hope I can keep up with this blog this time!
Angel
